What Truacta
is for.

Truacta analyses aggregate business data and shows its work. This page says what that output may be used for — and the one category of decision it must never be used to make.

What it's for

Answering questions about your business from your own data: revenue, pipeline, retention, cash, marketing performance. Reconciling a number that three systems compute three different ways, and showing which one is right and why. Every figure comes with the query behind it, so a person can check it.

What it must not be used for

You may not use Truacta's output as a basis for consequential decisions about an identified individual. That includes:

The one that needs saying out loud

Commission analysis audits the plan. It does not decide anyone's pay.

Truacta can tell you that commission was calculated against the wrong booking amount, or paid on a deal that never billed. That is a question about whether the plan was applied correctly, and the answer is checkable against the query behind it.

It is not an input to what someone should be paid. A person owns that decision, looks at the evidence, and is accountable for the outcome — which is also what keeps this product outside the scope of algorithmic decision-making rules that reach compensation.

Human judgement stays in the loop

Every answer is evidence for a person to weigh, not a verdict. Truacta is built to refuse when it cannot answer properly, precisely so that a gap in the data shows up as a gap rather than as a confident number someone acts on.

If we learn that output is being used for a decision this policy prohibits, we will raise it with you, and we may suspend access if it continues. We would rather have the conversation.
